PTCC can provide extensive technical assistance and financial planning to execute projects, including full logistical organization and comprehensive local support. It offers a focused set of strategic business development services for tenders and ongoing projects, aligned to fit each Client's specific objectives. PTCC could also assist in the feasibility studies, policy and market analysis, project negotiations, joint venture arrangements, detailed engineering, master planning and construction management.
Effective communication has been an integral part in PTCC's successful delivery of tasks performed. PTCC is keeping up with the more sophisticated communication technology available in the market. Local Area Network (LAN), internet access, electronic mails, mobile phones and facsimile machines have been part of the company's common tools for fast and effective communication.
PTCC has made increasing use of computers in all engineering analysis, design and data handling for major projects. The firm is equipped with Windows based MX Software for Modeling Surface System (MOSS) and Land Development Civil Design. All highway and land development project designs are made by means of MX/MOSS and Land Development Civil Design computer programs, including survey data analysis, horizontal and vertical alignment designs, roadway templates, superelevation and widening. For the analysis and design of structures, STAAD Pro Ver. 2005 is frequently used. PCACol V2.20 developed by Portland Cement Association is used for the design and investigation of concrete columns. Drawing plans are being created using AutoCAD 2005 and ADT 2000i, in order to cut design time and reduce, if not eliminate, drawing/production errors.
PTCC is supported by the staff and resources of affiliate firms particularly the Survey Geomatics Division (SGD) of FFCCI and Geotechnics Phils. Inc. (GPI) for survey and mapping works and geotechnical and geophysical investigation, respectively. With SGD's suite of survey and mapping instruments and equipment, it can assist any local government or any other client in engineering and facility survey, boundary delineation and relocation of properties, cadastral survey, parcellary, mapping, topographic survey and other land and hydrographic survey requirements, as well as get accurate information such as roads, streams, man-made features, boundary lines and topographical information for engineering planning, infrastructure development sitting, real estate development, zoning and land use management, land use updating and planning, business location and tourism development. Using Geographic Information System (GIS) combined with orthophoto maps, SGD can generate information valuable for land use planning, environment management, socio-economic profiling, resource management planning, facilities management, disaster planning, location services and human services, tourism and tax mapping (inventory, valuation, assessment, collection and reporting of property taxes as well as creation, updating and maintenance of real property tax records).
The geotechnical services and geophysical investigations include seismic refraction surveys, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) imaging for underground facilities and non-destructive testing techniques such as Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD).
